Maple has leveled up! 🌟 It was the last day of school, and we're ready for summer. We hope all of our Maple students have a fantastic break! ☀️


Today, Mrs. Gardner’s class had an exciting Q&A Google Meet with a rising athlete—Mrs. Gardner’s niece, Heather, who is training for the Olympic swimming trials! Students asked Heather questions about her swimming career and her upcoming swim meet. They also shared their Good Luck posters to show their support.
You can watch Heather swim the 100 Breaststroke this Sunday, June 16, on Peacock starting at 11:00am. Good luck, Ms. Heather! Maple Elementary is cheering you on! 🏊🏻♀️🥇








Today was our kindergarten promotion ceremony. Our little Maple Lions are ready for first grade! 🦁 🐾 💚




The Griffin House had a wonderful time on their special trip as the 2023-2024 winning House! 🏆❤️

Our staff definitely joined in on the fun! They participated in a partner egg toss contest, ran in the color run, dominated in a kickball game against the 5th graders, and had an inflatable costume race! 🦁🐾

Yesterday we held our last House Celebration of the 23-24 school year! Thank you to our House leaders and the rest of the staff for making it a great one! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜






Grades Pre K-5th will cycle through different stations, class relays and tug of war. In the afternoon they will be participating in a "color run" at Egypt Road Park.
For your child to enjoy activity day, we recommend comfortable athletic clothing such as a white t-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes!!! Sunscreen, hats, and water bottles are also recommended!!! Sunscreen and Bug Spray must be put on at home, and left home!


Congratulations to Griffin House on their win today! They have earned the most points for the 23-24 school year and will be rewarded with a special trip to, including a picnic lunch. Upon returning to school, they will get to choose a sweet treat from an ice cream truck. Let's all wear red on Tuesday, June 11th, to celebrate them! ❤️❤️❤️

Students will receive a new House shirt on Thursday morning. We ask that students wear orange accessories (socks, glasses, bows, etc.) to support our Sandy Hill family. 🧡🧡🧡
**Families are welcome to attend if the weather cooperates.** If it rains, the event will be held indoors and families will not be able to attend due to space limitations.
**Arrival and Setup:**
- Families may arrive at 12:45 PM to set up chairs in the parent section.
- Please park in the lot near the soccer field and walk behind the outdoor classroom.
- Bring a chair and wear your child's House color!
**Important Reminder:**
For student safety, parents will not be able to take their child home after the celebration. We will follow normal dismissal procedures. Please join the pick-up line to collect your child.


Please consider sending in any uniforms that your child has outgrown. The last week of school will be casual for all students. Please get in touch with Mrs. Higgins if you cannot drop off, but would like to donate.
