The library and ShoreRivers will be promoting this during the week of May 13-17th. When someone checks out sturgeon books donated by ShoreRivers, they will receive a free sticker designed by Christopher! 🐟 🌟

This week, our enthusiastic 4th-grade students embarked on an educational voyage aboard the Sultana—a faithful reproduction of a 1768 Royal Navy schooner. SULTANA offers a perfect setting to delve into the rich history and unique environment of the Chesapeake Bay. Our students had the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning alongside the expert staff from the Sultana Educational Foundation, exploring both the environmental science and historical aspects of life in the 18th century.
Our staff had a refreshing Hydration Station yesterday! Today, they indulged in delicious BBQ food, courtesy of Mr. Jenkins for grilling for us! 🍔 🌭
Tonight was truly special at our Spring Arts Night! Our talented students showcased their incredible work in music and art. Huge thanks to Mr. Lee and Mr. Williams for organizing such a memorable event!

Third Grade students attended the University of Maryland Center For Environmental Science at Horn Point to learn more about the Atlantic Sturgeon. They enjoyed being scientists for the day while creating their own buoys, seining, and getting the chance to see a sturgeon up close! 🐟🐠
Ms. Kolakowski's class just wrapped up their action project for the sturgeon program by cleaning up the schoolyard! 🌱🚮 Great job, everyone!
