Over the last two weeks, our students have been busy learning, growing, and having fun in PE. Third graders worked in small groups to “save their team” from a sinking Titanic, building perseverance, compromise, and communication along the way.
This week, we kicked off our dribbling unit with feet. Students in grades 3–5 designed their own dribbling practice courses and then rotated through each other’s stations. In grades 1–2, students learned dribbling cues and went on a treasure hunt, collecting as many “gold coins” as they could using dribbling and trapping.
Our students are building important skills while also learning the value of teamwork and creativity. #withJoy
