Today was an exciting day!
We proudly announced Dragon House as the winning house for the 2024–2025 school year! 🐉💚
We also introduced our new Student House Leaders, and students enjoyed lunch while sitting with their house members.
Students also had a blast participating in fun games and activities as part of a friendly house competition—the spirit and energy were incredible! 🦁

Congratulations to the Dragon House for being the winning house for the 2024-2025 school year! They will be going on a trip next week to Ocean City! All staff and students are encouraged to wear green tomorrow to celebrate them! 💚

Our Pre-K 4 students are officially kindergarten ready! 🎓
Take a look at these sweet moments from their promotion ceremony today. We’re so proud of them! 💚🦁📸

Congratulations to these Maple Lions for showing incredible courage during Activity Day!
They earned this recognition by stepping outside of their comfort zones, challenging themselves, or standing up for others. We’re so proud of them! 🦁

In Mrs. Morrissette’s media class, our 1st and 2nd graders dove into the colorful world of biographies and inventors! They explored how crayons were invented in 1903, learning about the brilliant minds behind this everyday tool.
Students learned how one creative idea can make a big difference—and then got to work with a fun STEM twist! At the tables, they teamed up for a crayon tower challenge, building the tallest, strongest structures they could using only crayons. Creativity, teamwork, and hands-on learning made this a lesson to remember!

Reminder - Tomorrow is Griffin's Day of Courage. All staff and students are encouraged to wear red. Students do not have to be in uniform if participating.

More pictures from our Color Run and Activity Day!

Our Maple Lions and staff had an amazing time at Color Run & Activity Day!
It was a day full of fun, laughter, and school spirit. A huge thank you to Mr. Daniels for planning another incredible event! We also want to give a big shoutout to the Cambridge Rescue Fire Company for helping out during the color run, and to the TAM students who supported our littles throughout the day. We appreciate you all!

Congratulations to our MCAP Raffle Winners!
Students earned entries by showing up every day, on time, and giving their best effort. We’re so proud of their dedication—check out our awesome winners!

Maple families, you are invited to our final House Celebration on Thursday, May 29th at 1:15pm. Families may arrive at 1:00 to set up chairs in the family section. Please park in the lot near the soccer field and walk behind the outdoor classroom. Please bring your own chair and wear your student’s HOUSE color!
For student safety, students will not be permitted to leave the celebration with parents. We will use normal dismissal procedures.

Our House Heroes were all smiles today as they headed to Applebee’s for a special reward lunch!
The weather changed our original plans for a park outing, but that didn’t stop the fun. We returned to school and ended the day with some exciting rounds of Bingo!

Our Maple Lions showed up ready for the future at today’s Career Fair!
Students came dressed as their future professions, and we’re so grateful to the community members and local businesses who joined us to share their careers and inspire our students. Thank you for helping make this day meaningful and memorable!

Reminder- Tomorrow will be our Activity Day and Color Run! Students can wear their tie-dye shirts, which will be given to them when they arrive in the morning. If your child did not bring in or purchase a shirt to tie-dye, they can wear a plain white shirt. Students should wear comfortable shorts or pants and footwear. Most of our day will be spent outdoors. Please apply sunscreen and bug spray before your child leaves for school in the morning. Although we did not invite families to this event, please stay tuned for more information on our final House Celebration.

Ms. Drake’s second graders worked hard to write detailed stories that included animals as characters, carefully editing and revising until they were ready to publish. They proudly presented their final pieces, and we’re so proud of their creativity, effort, and hard work!
