Students can still wear their house colors to school and enjoy a special House Lunch together! 🎉 We’ll also be announcing the winner of the Penny Wars—so there’s still plenty of excitement ahead! 🏆💰

One of our very own Maple Lions, Rastall, took over the airwaves as the “Junior DJ” on 96.7 WCEI! 🎤 He proudly shared that he goes to Maple Elementary, plays soccer, and that his favorite subject is science! ⚽🔬🦁

Our Pre-K4 students had an amazing time at the Fall Festival today at DCTC! The TAM students led all the fun activities and crafts including pumpkin picking, story time, pine cone creations, and painting fall trees, while the Cosmetology students wowed everyone with their awesome face painting skills! #withJoy
On Friday, October 31st, we will hold our annual costume parade during school. Students can wear their costumes to school. We will make sure to post pictures for families to see!
To go along with Anti-Bullying Spirit Week, kindergarten and first grade students participated in SEL lessons with our school counselor, Ms. Plumley, where they learned about bullying and signed class kindness pledges to display in their classrooms. #withJoy

Our 2nd graders (Mrs. Bradley/Mrs. Mills’ class) had an amazing time with our Media Specialist, Mrs. Morrissette, this morning! They enjoyed an engaging Author Book Talk featuring Aaron Reynolds—the hilarious author of Creepy Carrots!
Aaron shared that he actually disliked reading as a kid and was a bit rambunctious in school, until his 5th-grade teacher read him a book that changed everything. From that moment, he fell in love with stories and eventually became the beloved author we know today.
Next week, our students will step into the shoes of authors and illustrators as they create their own short stories about something ordinary that turns creepy - just like Aaron Reynolds’ Creepy Carrots!
