📚 The Book Fair will be open for one more day on Monday, October 14th for students to shop. We’re excited for students to have another opportunity to discover new books they’ll love!
Maple Elementary School and Judy Center are hosting a free 8-week PEP Family Resiliency Program for parents and caregivers to learn tools to strengthen family connections, support mental health, and encourage success in school. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays from October 21 to December 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dinner and childcare will be provided. Families who attend five or more sessions and complete the evaluation will receive a $50 gift card (limit one per household).

In Ms. Spedden’s 5th grade science class, students became detectives of nature as they explored owl pellets. At first, many were surprised to learn that owls cannot digest bones, fur, or feathers, so they cough them up in the form of pellets.
Wearing lab coats and gloves, and using tweezers and magnifying glasses, the students carefully dissected the pellets to discover what the owls had eaten. Each new find sparked excitement and curiosity as the class worked together to identify the creatures in the owl’s diet. #withJoy
Yesterday, our PK–2nd grade students enjoyed a special visit from the local fire company to learn about fire safety and prevention! 🚒Thank you to our firefighters for teaching our students how to stay safe! #withJoy
Our Sphinx, Hippogriff, and Griffin houses showed up and showed out! Thank you to all of our families who came out to have some fun, laugh together, and make memories at Emily's! #withJoy 💜 💙❤️

Each grade level is collecting items for themed baskets that will be raffled off at our Fall Family Night on October 9th!

Our Maple Lions are off and running on the track to success! With our Olympic theme this year, students are showing that every day counts when it comes to attending school. Congratulations to 3rd Grade for taking the gold in September with a 93.7% average attendance! 🥇
