Our 8th grade students had an amazing trip across the bridge today at the Baltimore Aquarium. Students were able to view and even interact with tons of different sealife from all kinds of varied ecosystems!









The PBIS Committee would like to thank everyone who came out and supported tonight during Game Night! We love watching all of our students enjoy the variety of games and each others company. Stay tuned throughout the year for more PBIS and family engagement events!

Game night has been rescheduled due to some community event conflicts. We want as many students able to participate as possible. New night is Wednesday October 23rd, 4:30-6! We hope to see you there!


Students are exploring color and value through monochromatic paintings based on their PBIS houses!

In the beginning of the year medical inventories went home, please make sure you are returning the completed packet to the school nurse!
If you need a new packet, please reach out to the main office.

Next Thursday night is our after school PBIS Game Night! The gym will be open for basketball along with many other games set up in our cafeteria. We will also have concessions for sale! Tickets will be 3 dollars at the door.

Congratulations to our September PBIS Students of the Month. Our winners are 6th grader Jaylah Miller, 7th grader Cameron Brown and 8th grader Braylon Potter. We thank these students for going above and beyond to show Respect, Effort and Pride in our school!

It's almost that time! Our School Social Workers are ready to welcome everyone back to school for a great 2024-2025 school year. Here are some back to school tips they would like to share.


Our PBIS Spring Game Night was a blast! Thank you to everyone that came out to support and have some fun!









Students and families, don't forget this Tuesday May 14th is our Virtual Day! Students will get work tomorrow that must be turned in on Wednesday in order for their attendance to count for Tuesday. If students do not turn in completed work they will be marked as absent for the virtual day. Google Meet codes will be handed out tomorrow as well. Students may hop into either scheduled google meet session with their teachers for help.


Introducing Rooms, the new DCPS Parent-Teacher communication tool! Rooms is fully integrated into our district app so you have one app for everything. Parents/Guardians can use the DCPS app for district and school news, events, dining, and now Rooms. Please check your email for more information and to get connected to your child's teacher(s).
