🏀📣 DOUBLE HEADER VICTORY AT MLMS! 📣🏀 What an incredible night to be a Tiger! Both our MLMS Boys and Girls Basketball teams brought the intensity, teamwork, and determination to secure a double header victory! Their hard work, discipline, and commitment to each other were on full display from start to finish. Our Cheer and Dance teams were equally outstanding, bringing unmatched energy, spirit, and pride to the court. Their enthusiasm lifted the crowd and fueled our athletes every step of the way. This is what Tiger Pride looks like—students supporting students, teams pushing each other to be their best, and a community united. 🎶 Making Music and Making Connections at MLMS! 🎶 in General Music, our students put their knowledge to the test as they competed to identify instruments as part of their instrument classification unit! From strings to brass, woodwinds to percussion, students worked hard to recognize the unique sounds and characteristics of each instrument. This hands-on, interactive competition was a fun way to celebrate all they’ve learned while building listening skills, teamwork, and confidence. It was exciting to see their enthusiasm and hear their pride when they correctly identified each instrument! 📸 the focus and excitement says it all! ⛄❄️ Chillin’ with Self-Care! ❄️⛄

Our 6th and 7th graders had a cool time learning about self-care during classroom lessons with Ms. Skinner, one of our school social workers 💙🧡

Students talked about ways to take care of their minds and bodies, then brought their ideas to life by creating self-care snowmen—each one showing a self-care strategy they plan to try! 🧠✨

We love seeing our students reflect, create, and take steps to care for themselves ☃️💫👏

There is a slight chance of winter weather this evening, so just in case it impacts school tomorrow, students are being sent home today with their devices and/or paper learning packets.

If weather does cause a school closure, we will move to virtual instruction for the day. This is simply a precaution—we’re hoping Mother Nature cooperates and that we’ll see our students bright and early on Wednesday!
