🎶🐯 **WHAT A WEEK FOR MLMS BAND CAMP!** 🐯🎶

We wrapped up an incredible week of **Band Camp** with a fantastic performance for a PACKED audience of family and friends! 🧡💙

Our students worked hard all week, learning, practicing, creating music together, and preparing to share what they accomplished. Today, all of that hard work paid off! Their performance was a HUGE success, and it was wonderful to see so many family members filling the audience and cheering them on. 🎺🥁🎷🎵

We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful to everyone who continues to support our growing band program. Seeing how much this program has grown is truly exciting, and we can’t wait to keep building on that momentum and make music an even more prominent part of the Mace’s Lane experience!

At Mace's Lane Middle School, we believe every student deserves to walk through our doors feeling confident, prepared, and ready to learn.

This year, our students will be dressing for success and we are establishing a MLMS Uniform Closet to support students and families who may need a little extra help.

We're asking our incredible Tiger community to partner with us by donating new or gently used uniform items or making a financial contribution.

Financial gifts help us purchase missing sizes, replace worn items, and keep our Uniform Closet stocked throughout the year. To make a monetary donation, please contact the MLMS School Office and ask to speak with our Financial Secretary.

📦 Uniform donations may be dropped off at the MLMS School office this summer Monday through Thursday until 2:30 or during regular school hours throughout the year.

Every shirt, pair of pants, skirt, shorts, and every dollar donated helps remove barriers for our students and ensures they can come to school feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to learn.

To help every student begin the year prepared for success, we have attached the 2026–2027 Mace's Lane Middle School Supply List. While many supplies are used throughout the year, having these items on the first day of school will help students start off organized and ready to learn.

A few important reminders:

All students are required to have a clear bookbag.
All students are required to have a clear water bottle.
Some supplies, such as tissues, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer, will be collected by homeroom teachers to support classrooms throughout the year.
Individual teachers may request a few additional items once classes begin.

Join us for Mace's Lane Band Camp 2026 from August 3–6! This exciting opportunity is open to beginners, returning members, and all students interested in music. Students will learn new skills, make friends, build confidence, and prepare for a special performance for family and friends on August 6 at 1:30 PM.

Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating the Mace's Lane Middle School Class of 2026 during our 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony.

It was a special evening filled with pride, reflection, and excitement as we recognized the accomplishments of an outstanding group of students. Throughout their time at MLMS, these students have grown academically, developed as leaders, built lasting friendships, and created memories that will stay with them for years to come.

As they begin the next chapter of their educational journey, we are confident they will continue to achieve great things. We are grateful for the impact they have made on our school community and proud to call them Tigers.

Over the past three years, we have watched these students grow into leaders, athletes, artists, scholars, musicians, problem-solvers, and friends. 🎢🏆 HOUSE PRIDE IN ACTION! 🏆🎢 What an incredible year it has been for our House System at Mace’s Lane Middle School! Throughout the year, students earned points through positive behavior, academic effort, leadership, attendance, participation, and demonstrating our MLMS values each day. Last week, we celebrated all of our houses for the dedication, school spirit, and pride they have shown all year long. The House System has helped build connections, encourage positive choices, and create a sense of belonging for every student. A special congratulations to our House Champions, Isibindi – The House of Courage! 🦁 Through their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence, Isibindi earned the top spot and celebrated with a trip to Six Flags! From thrilling rides to time spent together making memories, it was a well-deserved reward for a year of outstanding effort.
