As part of our End-of-Year House Celebration, Isibindi House has earned the House Field Trip to Six Flags on **Thursday, June 4!**

Students in Isibindi House who met the behavior expectations for the quarter will be bringing home a permission form. Families, please check with your student this afternoon and be sure to return the completed form by **Wednesday, June 3**.

📋 A signed permission form is required for your child to attend the trip.

We are incredibly proud of our Isibindi students for demonstrating courage, leadership, positive behavior, and house pride throughout the year.

At MLMS, we know that mental health is just as important as physical health. Our school social workers are helping students celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month with activities, support, and reminders about healthy ways to care for themselves each day.

Some important reminders for our students and families:

💚 Stay connected with friends and family
💚 Spend time outside and enjoy fresh air

🧪🔬 Hands-on learning was happening at MLMS last week! 🔬🧪

Our students explored science in action through an exciting egg dissection lab! Prior to the activity, eggshells were dissolved in vinegar over a 48-hour period, allowing students to observe and discuss acid-base reactions and chemical changes firsthand. 🥚⚗️

Students had the opportunity to investigate the structure of the egg, make observations, ask questions, and connect real-world science concepts to what they are learning in the classroom. We love seeing our Tigers engaged, curious, and excited about learning through hands-on experiences! 🐯💡

Great job to our students and staff for bringing science to life at MLMS! 👏
