🔥 Fire Prevention Week 🔥
On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, our PreK–2nd grade students will enjoy a visit from the Secretary Volunteer Fire Company! 🚒 Students will take part in our annual fire prevention talk and learn important safety tips from our local firefighters.
A big thank you to the Secretary Volunteer Fire Company for partnering with our school to help educate and inspire our young learners. 💙
The Fire Department will also be hosting a Family Night on Friday, October 10th from 5:30–8:00 PM. Be sure to stop by for a fun-filled evening with activities for the whole family!

Congratulations to Grayson Garvey, our top seller for this year’s Mum Fundraiser! 🎉 For his outstanding effort, Grayson received a $100 gift card to the National Aquarium in Baltimore. 🐠🐧

Mum Fundraiser Update
Dear WES Families,
We need to let you know about yet another change with our mums fundraiser. For the second year in a row, our vendor has had a scheduling conflict and will not be bringing the mums on Monday as originally promised. This has been extremely frustrating for us, as we know many of you planned around this date.
The delivery has now been pushed to Friday, October 10th. We truly appreciate your patience with this ongoing issue and will do everything we can to make the pickup process smooth once they finally arrive.
Thank you for sticking with us through this—we are just as disappointed as you are.
