Students in the Level 1 and 2 Welding Program at DCTC received a generous donation of steel plates for materials of instruction from Crystal Steel Fabricators Inc. Crystal Steel has been a continuous supporter for the program with promotional career day events and material donations to ease the cost of workforce training for students. In FLEX time this week, CASE students participated in career connected learning. They practiced threshing, the process of breaking apart dried plant material to release the seeds. Look at all the marigold seeds they uncovered from just TEN plants! They are hoping to see some of these seeds bloom bright and beautiful next spring!
