
This week in our PLTW Biomed and Medical Services speaker series, we had Aymee Fonseca Gonsalez a labor and delivery nurse at Easton Memorial and Justin Hoxter and Kyle Cole with Dorchester Ems.

Adison Thomas from PLTW Biomed says, "I like that we use hands on learning because it helps us learn concepts in depth. I want to be a veterinarian and this helps me towards my goal." #CTEawarenessmonth


Sienna Mitchell is in our Interactive Media program. She shares, "What I love about my program is that I have the ability to be creative. We learn how to use photoshop. I'm hoping to use the skills that I have gained here to get to my future career of becoming an animator." #CTEawarenessmonth


These culinary students shared, "We love culinary because we love Chef Zinnel! She is very passionate about her work and that makes us passionate. We are looking forward to cooking for future events in the community as we advance in the Culinary Arts program. Cooking is a life-long skill that we are grateful to learn." #CTEawarenessmonth


Anthony Coghlan from Automotive Technology says, "I love the hands on learning and automotive is an interest of mine. I want to be an Automotive Technician when I get out of school." #CTEawarenessmonth

Kaleah Skinner has completed our Biomedical Science program and is currently finishing our Medical Services program. She says, "I love DCTC because of the overall experience. The lab work has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the content. I have also been able to acknowledge my growth from freshman to senior year." #CTEawarenessmonth


Thomas Cheezum from our Automotive Technology class says, "I love DCTC because it very hands on and there is always something new. I hope to use what I have learned here to one day open my own shop as a mechanic." #CTEawarenessmonth

Isiah Hughes has completed our PLTW Engineering program and is currently enrolled in our Architecture, Engineering & Construction Design and Management program. He says, "DCTC is setting me up for my future career as an architect. It spikes my interest and makes my mind work. I just enjoy DCTC." #CTEawarenessmonth

Kelsey Arnold, NDHS alumni, visited the biomed program and medical services program to talk about Respiratory Therapy. This kicked off their speaker series for thr semester.
