Calling all CES Families! We are having a reading step challenge for the month of April. Your student should be bringing home their log each and every night along with books to read. A step equals to 15 minutes of reading. Your student needs you to sign off on their reading steps.
We will be tracking how many steps each student reads starting today through April 30th. The top male and female from grades Kindergarten through 5th grade will receive a free bicycle for reading the most steps this month.
We will be talking about this during each school day as well. Students are able to read during recess, lunch, morning time and dismissal as well and have a staff member sign off on it.

Ms Brant's class held Ice cream AND pajama party for reaching 100 lexia lessons passed (for the 3rd time this year) and for getting 10 class compliments!! 💓
This week Mrs. Sherman's did peeps activities with our learning. They taste tested peeps in math and made bar graphs; discussing the least favorite flavors; the favorite flavor; and comparing each flavor and how many liked each flavor. They did peeps science, observing a peep before putting it in a liquid and then observing what happened to the peep after putting it in water, sprite and vinegar. They then wrote about their observations.
