Welcome Back Carnival 2024! Over 200 families joined us for an afternoon of fun while meeting their teachers, wrote a "this year we will statement", got new information about our houses, met with their school counselors and Social Workers, and finally met with our community partners the Boys and Girls club, Dorchester Health department, and Life Energy Wellness. We are pleased to welcome our families and students back to CES on August 29th from 3-5 pm. Families will meet teachers and staff and learn about new initiatives for the up coming year. Once a student has checked all their boxes they will receive tickets to go use at the carnival, which will be set up in the front grass lot. We look forward to seeing you next week! We are pleased to announce that we will be providing our students with basic school supplies this year. During our back to school event students will be able to pick up their clear back packs and water bottles. We are always in need of additional supplies. Please provide any additional supplies that you are able to purchase to your students classroom teacher in the fall. Choptank Elementary will be going to uniforms for next school year. Below is the guidance document. If a student is sent to school without a uniform one will be provided for them for the day but the student will change back into their clothes before getting on the bus. We will continue to post any sales and other group rates throughout the summer. Links below will assist you in purchasing.
