Attention Dorchester County Community!! Our Senior Send Off Parade is happening tomorrow (Friday) night beginning at 7PM. Please see the attached images for more information. The students will be lining up at 6PM at the School and traveling through town to the finale location at Grade March for their Senior Sunset.
The students would love for you to come out and support them by waving and cheering them on!!!
Class of 2025! It’s not too late to register for Fall 2025 classes at Chesapeake College. Come to Skipjack Days at the Wye Mills campus to meet with an advisor, take placement testing, schedule classes, tour campus, and more!

Head over to the PG County Sports Complex today, May 22nd at 2:30PM and Saturday, May 24th at 10:00AM to watch them do incredible things! Congratulations to Laila Insley and Tyler Spears for winning the Service Above Self Award and Fall Student of the Semester Award, respectively, through the Cambridge Rotary Club! We are so proud of our CSD graduates and all their amazing achievements! 🎉
Last night marked the first session of the Cambridge Police Department’s Teen Court Program, and our students were proud to be a part of it!
Teen Court offers a voluntary diversion alternative for youth who are first-time offenders of misdemeanor crimes. Instead of entering the juvenile justice system, these teens are tried and receive sanctions from a judge and jury made up of their peers. Our students gain valuable experience and responsibility.
We are excited to have students from both Cambridge-South Dorchester and North Dorchester High Schools participating in this important program. Teen Courts have proven to be very successful in nearby counties like Cecil, Wicomico, and Talbot.
Our Vikings Boys' Lax team is heading to the S T A T E Q U A R T E R F I N A L S today! They play at Fallston High School at 5PM, and tickets are $6 per attendee ages 7+. Let's go, Vikings!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the CSD Moms!
This week will be the last full week of classes for Seniors. There are special things happening next week, like passing of the key, interventions, and the senior picnic for seniors.
This week there are several AP exams, and the freshman students will be attending their field trip on Tuesday. Seniors will also be taking their senior exams.
Athletics will continue with playoff games for many of our teams. The calendar will be updated throughout the week.

Children's Mental Health Matters week @ CSD! Along with staff appreciation week, CSD also celebrated mental health matters week with a spirit week, including staff/student swap day and green day. We also were able to have guests to support the students during Power Lunch throughout the week. Thank you to our school social workers for organizing and bringing awareness to Children's Mental Health!
Our Technology department is like no other. We have Mr. Catron, who not only teaches Technology Education, but coaches multiple sports. We also have Mr. Beasley who is a jack of all trades... teaching in multiple areas. Ms. Blades, our school librarian teaches multiple classes and supports our entire staff. This is the end of our teacher appreciation posts, but that doesn't mean the appreciation ends - we love all our staff at CSD and wish them a fantastic end of the school year.

They teach a variety of courses, including Government, Psychology, African American History, and U.S. History. In their classrooms, you can always find engaging and thought-provoking conversations taking place!
