Cambridge South Dorchester High School students are invited to attend a college preparation presentation featuring Ty Young, founder of Young Scholars College Consulting. This will be held Wednesday, September 10th at 6pm in the CSD Media Center. All high school students are invited to attend, even if you attend school in another district.
Class of 2029 is in the house! Freshman students were warmly welcomed by former teachers, CSD staff, and cheerleaders before finding their classrooms. They then attended a Town Hall meeting led by Principal Stover and experienced Power Lunch for the first time.

Driver's Ed is coming to Cambridge South Dorchester High School! The two week session will run from September 22nd through October 3rd from 3:15 - 6:30 in E-60. The session is limited to 30 students. You can register by contacting Drive On Time at 443-944-5288 or online using the link in the flier.

This is a reminder to all Dual Enrollment Students! Your classes start today, so make sure you log in and get started on the right foot. If you have not picked up your school issued laptop, please stop by the high school. Happy First Day of classes!!!
CSD Laptop Distribution will take place on Tuesday, August 26th and Wednesday, August 27th from 8:30AM to 1:00PM. Grades 9 and 10 will be distributed on 8/26 and grades 11 and 12 will be distributed on 8/27. To pick up laptops, students and parents will need to enter through door 16 in the Cafeteria. An adult is required to sign your technology agreement form before a laptop can be released. There will also be an opportunity for parents to sign laptop agreement forms during open house on Thursday, 8/28.
Please note that students who did not turn in a device at the year, will still be assigned a new device if a form is signed. However, the bill for the unreturned device will stand until it is given back to IT.

Over the past year, the district conducted a pilot program in select schools to test various approaches to cell phone use during the school day. The pilot provided valuable insights into what was needed to update the current policy.

Here is the Weekly calendar for Finals! We have Finals for Periods 1, 3, and 5 on Monday and Tuesday. Periods 2 and 4 have final exams on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday there will be an incentive field trip to 6 Flags on Friday for grades 10 and 11 (permission slip required). Technology returns will begin next week after final exams for all students.
