Yesterday, our Cross Country team competed in the Tidewater Fall Classic Invitational, and Josiah Harris finished in the Top 10 for the race, placing 9th out of 400 athletes! Josiah, your Viking family is proud of you and would like to congratulate you on this major accomplishment!

Also, we will be having Parent Conferences on Monday, October 7th. The times are from 9 - 12 and 12:30 - 2:30 . No appointments are necessary.

It's Homecoming week, and we have several events happening this upcoming Friday night! To kick off the night, we will be hosting our inaugural Homecoming Tailgate from 5PM - 9PM in the stadium parking lot. Our Class of 2024 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized during a pre-game ceremony beginning at 5:30PM, and our Homecoming game vs. Colonel will kick off at 6PM. We're excited for the festivities and invite you to join us!

You are invited to come along with MBRT Coordinator, Ms. Molock & DCPS Career Coach, Mrs. Shaw on a bus to Chesapeake College “Hispanic & Latino Family Welcome Night”, on Tuesday, October 8th. Each student is permitted to bring one parent/guardian and meet us at the front flagpole by 5 p.m. to depart sharply at 5:15 p.m. The bus will return to CSD by 8:45 p.m.. It will be a great time for our Hispanic & Latino students & family member to learn about financial aid & scholarships, programs of study, meet staff & other college students, explore academic pathways and tour the campus.
