Kinder and 5th Graders will eat at 10:50 - 11:30
1st Graders and 4th Graders will eat at 11:35 - 12:15
PreK, 2nd Graders and 3rd Graders will eat at 12:25 - 1:05

Today is the last day we are accepting registration for Thanksgiving Luncheon. Please remember that each student is only allowed ONE adult to attend.
If you have registered multiple adults to attend with an individual child, we ask that you call to verify the adult attending.

Join us Tuesday, November 25th from 11:00–1:30 PM for a delicious lunch and support a great cause! 🍽️ We’ll also be hosting our Wild Goose Chase that day — it’s sure to be a fun time at W.E.S.!
Each $11 meal includes pit beef or turkey, chips, drink, and condiments — all fresh and ready to enjoy!

🐄 Meet Our Calf – Sleeping Beauty! 🐄
Each year, 4th grade participates in the Adopt a Calf Program, and this year we’re excited to follow our adorable calf, Sleeping Beauty!
👩🌾 The program is hosted by dairy farmer Alice Crothers from Long Green Farms in Rising Sun, Maryland. Throughout the school year, students will join live video chats from the farm to learn how Farmer Alice cares for Sleeping Beauty and the other calves.
📚🐮 Dairy farm life connects right back to the classroom! Students will explore dairy concepts and use what they learn in:
Math ➝ tracking growth and measurements
Reading ➝ learning through farm stories and nonfiction
Science ➝ animal care, nutrition, and life cycles
We are excited to follow Sleeping Beauty’s journey and learn more about dairy farming along the way! 🐾🌾
