Snacks for PreK - 2nd Graders

How can we help our children succeed and be prepared for school. There are no magic answers but let’s discuss one very important element and that is Sleep. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC) cites that 37% of children ages 4 months to 5 years old are not getting enough sleep. Sleep is critical for all of us, but for school aged children it is even more important. The recommended amount of sleep for our Huskies is Preschoolers 3–5 years: 10–13 hours per day, including naps, and school-age children 6–12 years: 9–12 hours per day. It can be very challenging to ensure we all get enough sleep, but it is worth our efforts.
