We’re a little late, but this shout-out is definitely worth celebrating! 🐾💙 Last week was Custodian Appreciation Day, and we want to take a moment to recognize our incredible custodial team! Our custodians do so much behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, welcoming, and ready for our Huskies each and every day. From the big jobs to the little things that often go unnoticed, we are so grateful for everything you do for our school community! Thank you for helping make Warwick a place we’re proud to call home. We appreciate you more than you know! 💙🐾 Happy National Custodian Day to our amazing custodial team! 🎉

🚒🔥 Today our Huskies had a special visit from the Secretary Fire Department for Fire Prevention Week! Our PreK–2nd grade students learned important fire safety tips and even received special fire safety bags to take home. We are so grateful to the Secretary Fire Department for taking the time to visit our young Huskies, teach them how to stay safe, and make fire safety fun! 🐾💙🚒 Thank you for helping our Huskies learn, prepare, and stay safe! ❤️‍🔥

🎃 Warwick Elementary Trunk or Treat Volunteer Sign-Up 👻 Warwick Elementary School’s Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, October 30th! We are excited to provide this fun event for our Huskies and are looking for volunteers to decorate their trunks and help make the day special for our students. Trunks should be set up and ready by 10:00 AM, and the final grade level will finish around 11:45 AM. Students will come through one grade level at a time. If you would like to participate, please complete this form by October 12th. 🍂🌻 Mum Fundraiser Update 🌻🍂

Our mum fundraiser has officially wrapped up, and the order has been placed! We’re so grateful for everyone who participated and helped make this fundraiser a success. 🧡

To ensure we could accommodate the requested colors, the delivery date was adjusted. Pick-up is tentatively scheduled for October 8th from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. We are currently waiting for the distributor to confirm the exact delivery time and will share an update as soon as we have one.

Girls on the Run kicked off yesterday, and we think it’s safe to say it was a success! 🏃‍♀️💙 We are so excited to watch our 4th and 5th grade girls grow throughout this season as they build confidence, practice kindness, strengthen their decision-making skills, and support one another every step of the way! Here’s to a season full of strong strides, big smiles, and even bigger growth! 🐾✨

🙏Tomorrow at 8:15 AM, meet at the flagpole for the Global Day of Student Prayer. We hope you’ll join us as we come together to pray for our students, school, and community. 💙🐾

Good Morning Warwick Families, here are a couple of quick updates:
1. Tomorrow is our 2nd House Lunch! Currently there is a tie for 1st place between Amistad and Isibindi so that makes tomorrows house challenge even more important.
2. Students may wear house colors tomorrow since it is House Lunch and there is no School Friday!
3. Tomorrow is a 1/2 day for Parent Conferences and Friday is No School. Please make sure you have communicated with your students teacher if you plan on meeting with them.

Good Evening, here are a couple of updates for tomorrow: 1. To participate in our House Lunch challenge on Wednesday, September 23rd students must turn in their reading logs and math homework no later than tomorrow. Last time we had 72% of the school complete their homework. We are hoping for higher this time! 2. Tomorrow house shirts and spirit wear are permitted. We will also be allowing purple for anyone that want to participate in DCPS wears Purple. Have a good night
