Today we sent home 10-day attendance letters to families of students who have accumulated 10 or more absences (lawful or unlawful) so far this school year. This letter is meant to bring attention to the fact that any future absences for the remainder of the school year will require a doctor’s note or other legal documentation in order to be considered lawful.

Ask your child how a school social worker helps students, supports feelings, or solves problems at school. These conversations help children better understand the caring adults who are here to support them every day.
