Dear Vienna Families,
Our students need to read for one hour each day in four 15-minute sessions. Every 15 minutes of reading is considered one "step."At school, two steps (15 minutes + 15 minutes) will be accomplished each day. Two more steps (15 minutes + 15 minutes) must be accomplished at home.
We need you to be the "Home Reading Coach for your learner"! Starting Wednesday, September 25th your child will bring home books and a log sheet every night. The books being brought home are on your child's independent reading level and have been selected by the reader.
Home Reading Coach, please read with the students for 30 minutes and sign two steps in their reading log every night.
Thank you for being so helpful in growing readers who read, read, read, and love it!
