Vienna Elementary School will have a Virtual Learning Day on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. There will be no 2-hour delay. Students should meet their teacher online at 9:00 a.m. by joining their teacher’s Google Meet.
If students are not logging in virtually, they should complete the paper packet that was sent home last Friday (if requested). Completion of the work packet will count as attendance for students not participating virtually.

Vienna Elementary School will have a Virtual Learning Day on Monday, February 23, 2026. Students should join their teacher’s Google Meet at 9:00 a.m.
Online Learning Schedule:
🕘 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. – Virtual Instruction
🍽 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. – Lunch Break (Offline)
🕦 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Virtual Instruction
To help your child have a successful learning day at home:
✅ Find a quiet place free of distractions
⏰ Be on time – 9:00 a.m.
🎒 Be prepared with materials
🔌 Make sure devices are fully charged and plugged in

Our PreK 4 students are learning, creating, and growing every single day under the direction of their teacher, Mrs. Sherri Todd, and instructional assistant, Mrs. Jodie Condon! From building amazing structures and exploring with blocks, to making heart creations with playdough, enjoying story time, and sharing smiles at lunch — these little learners are busy developing important skills through play and hands-on experiences.

There is a slight possibility of winter weather this weekend. As a precaution, students are being sent home with their devices and/or paper learning packets tomorrow, Friday, February 20th in the event that school is impacted next week.
Should weather conditions cause a school closure at the start of next week, we will transition to virtual instruction. We hope that the weather will cooperate and that we will see our students in person, bright and early, on Monday.

Kindergarten students at Vienna Elementary School in Mrs. Jo Ann Dechert’s class had an exciting time celebrating the 100th Day of School on February 18th!
Each student proudly brought in 100 items to share and talk about in front of the class. From colorful collections to creative groupings, our young learners practiced counting, speaking, and building confidence as they presented their projects to their classmates.

This Friday, February 20th, is picture day at Vienna Elementary! Students can take their class photos, and siblings may take pictures together as well.
Please note: there will be NO retakes, so come ready with your best smiles!
It's also a NO UNIFORM DAY, so students may dress in their favorite outfit for their photos.
We can't wait to see all those picture-perfect smiles!

🎉 Congratulations to Charles Coulbourne! 🎉
Charles, a 5th-grade student at Vienna Elementary School, achieved an outstanding result on the PACER test in Miss Hubbard’s P.E. class — earning the highest score in the school!
The PACER (Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run) measures aerobic fitness by counting the number of shuttle laps completed before two missed beeps. Charles demonstrated incredible endurance, determination, and effort throughout the challenge.
