Look at Miss Bradshaw's students cleaning up after center time. Thank you, PreK 3 students, for demonstrating “Our Seventh A to Success": When you can be ANYTHING, be kind. Kindness matters. We are proud of our Vienna students.

Remember to wear your house shirts on Friday!

Miss Todd's 4th-grade and Miss Perry's 3rd-grade classes participated in a cooperative team-building activity called "SAVING FRED." Under the guidance of these two excellent teachers, students actively took part in a challenging mission to save a gummy worm named Fred.
Their teachers' leadership was important in this team-building and problem-solving activity.
In the activity, Fred's boat (a plastic cup) had flipped over, leaving him unable to swim. The objective was to help Fred reach a life preserver (a lifesaver) trapped under the boat, using only four paper clips provided, without touching Fred, the cup, or the life preserver. Thanks to everyone's efforts, Fred was saved with successful teamwork and problem-solving skills. However, Fred may have sustained some puncture wounds during his rescue. Thankfully, Fred didn't drown.
We are grateful to Miss Todd and Miss Perry for organizing this fantastic activity, which taught us the value of teamwork.

Mr. Abbott, our amazing math and reading coach, rewarded the students for their outstanding achievement in the summer reading challenge by treating them to delicious ice cream. Our student's enthusiasm for reading over the summer break is genuinely appreciated!

To help calm their first-day jitters, Mrs. Susan W. Thomas’s second - grade students read the book" First Day Jitters" by Julie Danneberg and then made their jitter juice. It was a delicious and delightful way to calm their fears about entering second grade.

To our principal, Susie Price, we appreciate your dedication to Vienna Elementary School and all that you do for us!

As Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Dechert says, “We're so glad you’re here today! Hurray, hurray, hurray"! That's so true, Mrs. Dechert! We have been eagerly anticipating this day. Our PreK3, PreK4, and Kindergarten students have finally arrived! Our dedicated staff ensured that the day ran smoothly and that our new students felt cared for and supported.
What a day full of learning routines! But don’t worry, parents. These students have done beautifully.
Ms. Bradshaw and Mrs. Todd’s classes read, “Our Class is a Family.”
This heartwarming book reminds us that we're not just a class but a family. We're all here for each other, and together, we make an incredible team.
We are thrilled about the adventure that awaits our students and the lasting friendships they will make. This is just the beginning of a beautiful journey for them, and we can't wait to see the wonderful experiences and memories they'll create in the coming days.

We are thrilled to welcome new PreK 3 and PreK 4 students at Vienna Elementary School this year. Miss Joy Bradshaw and Mrs. Sherri Todd have prepared their classrooms and eagerly anticipate an incredible year of growth and learning with their students. Like their welcome tree adorned with snapshots of students and parents, we are all set to embark on a journey of growth and discovery together.

What an amazing day it was! Principal Susie Price warmly welcomed students arriving on buses, and parents arrived early to drop off their children and take pictures with siblings, cousins, and friends. Students arrived fully prepared with their school supplies—backpacks, water bottles, and everything they need for a successful school year. First, students stopped by the cafeteria to see Mrs. Harrington and Mrs. Wallace to get breakfast. Next, staff was ready throughout the school, ensuring everyone got safely into their classrooms. Some students even surprised their teachers with delicious treats. Yum! Finally, in their classrooms, they were ready to learn. What a fantastic start to the school year!

Introducing our new intern, Ms. Jess Lang! This fall, Ms. Lang will work alongside our guidance counselor, Mrs. Frost. Ms. Lang loves music, animals, and spending time at the beach whenever possible. She looks forward to working closely with Ms. Frost, the amazing Vienna staff, and all our wonderful students as we kick off another great school year! 😊

Katie Crucillo, our dedicated Administrative Secretary, and her husband, Vann Crucillo, attended the staff cookout on Friday, August 30th. The staff's presence and participation, along with Mr. Crucillo's kind act, created lasting memories that will help us all through the challenges of the upcoming school year. Here's to incredible food and enjoyable moments, all made possible by our excellent staff.
