Please note that on Thursday, September 24th, Vienna Elementary will have a half-day schedule, with dismissal at 12:45 PM. This is a perfect opportunity for parents to shop at the Book Fair either before or after the Parent-Teacher Conferences in the afternoon.
Students will also have special times to shop during their regular Art and Media classes—don't miss out on the treasures waiting to be discovered! **The date changes will allow each class to have 2 shopping opportunities during their scheduled Art and Media times.**

How do you become masters of multiplication and division? Daily practice made perfect! Students in Mrs. Susan Thomas’ 4th grade class started out running on the first day of school, learning various basic math facts games to help make learning fun.

After many years of faithfully taking charge of the after-school pickup line at Vienna Elementary School, Mrs. Jennifer Bailey, our special education teacher, has decided it is time to pass the torch—or should we say, the megaphone! 📣
Mrs. Bailey has been a familiar and dedicated presence during dismissal for many years, helping ensure our Vienna Terrapins make it safely and smoothly on their way home each day.
Now, she is passing the megaphone on to Ms. Chloe James, our PreK3 instructional assistant, who will be taking over this important responsibility!

September 11 Remembrance
At Vienna Elementary School, we remember those who were lost 25 years ago, those who served, and the many acts of kindness and courage that followed.
Students and staff are invited to wear red, white, and blue on September 11th as we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
