Principal Mrs. Susie Price was in for a delightful surprise from the Vienna Parents Association (VPA) - a stunning vase of sunflowers to honor Principal's Month. A heartfelt thank you to VPA for adding so much joy and warmth to her day! The sunflowers even beautifully complemented her outfit. It's as if VPA has a knack for reading minds. Simply amazing!"

Introducing Oaklynn Hayden, an energetic kindergartener in Mrs. Dechert's class who fearlessly takes on T-ball for the Mudcats. Brace yourselves, baseball world—she's coming for you! I can almost hear the crowd chanting, "Oaklynn, Oaklynn!" Get ready to witness her unstoppable spirit and unwavering determination on the field!

Wyatt Eberspacher is a student in Mrs. Cole's 3rd grade class. He enjoys various outdoor activities, with baseball being his favorite. Last year, he was a member of the Tri-City Pirates and played multiple positions, but his favorite was catching.
In addition to baseball, Wyatt took part in the Delmarva Soap Box Derby in Federalsburg for the first time last year. He competed in the stock division of the event, which takes place every year on the first weekend in June. Great job, Wyatt!


Meet Holt Blades, a talented PreK4 student thriving in Mrs. Sherri Todd's class at Vienna Elementary School. Beyond the classroom, Holt is conquering the ice as a passionate hockey player in Easton. Holt, you are absolutely crushing it!

Our talented fourth-grade student, Vance Price, is making waves in the duck and goose calling competitions. With an impressive record of placing in the top three in every event in the area, his dedication and skill are truly commendable. We are incredibly proud of his achievements and can't wait to see what he'll accomplish next!

Congratulations to Ms. Jeanell Todd, the" Sharing is Caring" contest winner! Ms. Todd, our 4th and 5th grade teacher, shared valuable resources with her colleagues on the DCPS Elementary ELA Teacher Schoology Group page and was entered to win great prizes. Her name was drawn this month, and she emerged as the winner. We are truly grateful for her efforts and the knowledge she has shared with her colleagues. Thank you for inspiring us all!

What an incredible Fire Safety Week we had! Our PreK3, PreK4, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade students were thrilled to welcome the Vienna Fire Department and their awe-inspiring firetruck. The students learned essential fire safety guidelines and had a blast exploring the firetruck, all the firefighting tools, and even trying out the water hose. As if that wasn't enough, they also received cool hats and coloring books from the Vienna Fire Department. Thank you to Chief Jamie McFarlane and Mrs. Corey McFarlane for creating a truly memorable and special day for everyone involved!





Wear your "HOUSE" t-shirt tomorrow!

The VPA will hold a Trunk or Treat at Vienna Elementary School on Saturday, October 26th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We are asking for candy donations and volunteers to decorate their trunks and help us celebrate Halloween!
If you want to donate candy, please send it to the school with your students before Wednesday, October 23rd. If you are interested in decorating your trunk, please send the bottom portion of the flyer. Prizes will be awarded for the best trunk!
Costumes are encouraged but not required.
