Choptank has kicked off our extended learning time opportunities this year with several after-school programs! Congratulations to our first ever MCAP Stars! They are being displayed and have one full hallway for them to shine each and every day at Choptank. Second grade is having fun observing properties of different types of glue. October is bullying awareness and prevention month. DCPS will participate in the National Unity Day 2024 campaign on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. All students, staff, and community members are encouraged to wear ORANGE to show a visible message of building commUNITY through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion to prevent bullying! Kappa Delta Pi: Rho Eta Chapter at Salisbury University, recognized and celebrate one our faculty members and former Salisbury University KDP member, Ms. Emma Brant. 🧪🔬Mrs. Travis' Math Classes Become Scientists! 🧪🔬 Our 5th graders transformed their classroom into a science lab to explore the volume of rectangular prisms. Working in groups, they tackled 10 different centers to practice their understanding. Their enthusiasm and hard work were truly impressive!
