We are excited to announce the completion of our Outdoor Learning space! Students will begin receiving lessons outside along with enjoying snacks, lunch and special activities. Days are running out for the 2023-24 school year but we are excited for the opportunity this space will give our students for years to come.

Mrs. Travis's amazing 5th graders are putting their engineering skills to the test! Following the Engineering Design Process, they built structures out of index cards that could hold the most weight. Not only that, but they're also designing and building robots that will be judged on both their construction and how well they perform tasks! Calling all CES Families! We are having a reading step challenge for the month of April. Your student should be bringing home their log each and every night along with books to read. A step equals to 15 minutes of reading. Your student needs you to sign off on their reading steps.
We will be tracking how many steps each student reads starting today through April 30th. The top male and female from grades Kindergarten through 5th grade will receive a free bicycle for reading the most steps this month.
We will be talking about this during each school day as well. Students are able to read during recess, lunch, morning time and dismissal as well and have a staff member sign off on it.
