Classroom Spotlight!
The students in Mrs. Rank's Flex Period Advisory class earned community service learning hours last week by sharing stories with Maple Elementary School students. Over the past few months, they wrote informative paragraphs about their home countries in both English and their first languages. They published the stories and compiled them into a book titled The Beautiful Places Where We Come From. The students practiced reading the stories and finally visited the elementary students.
