🎉 Lunch is never boring with Mr. Evans! He loves to keep it interesting and never misses a chance to test the listening skills of our 6th graders. While many know him as our proud principal, he’s also a true connoisseur of Simon Says!
👏 A big thank-you to Mr. Darrence Slacum, who stopped by today to donate his time as a judge and provide snacks to the winner (and their tablemates) of the 6th Grade Lunch Simon Says Challenge!
💚 To top it off, our 6th graders showed House Spirit by donning GREEN in honor of Isibindi Day. Middle school is already looking good on the Class of 2031! 🦉

We’re back in action at North Dorchester Middle School, and our students are already diving into creativity, collaboration, and exploration!
🎶 NDMS Band — Mr. Bragg’s musicians spent time independently exploring their instruments after a long summer break. The energy and curiosity were inspiring!
🎤 NDMS Choir — Ms. Griffin led students through the syncopated rhythms of “Shosholoza,” and their intonation was spot-on. What a beautiful start to the year!
🎨 Art with Mr. Shores — Students got creative with graffiti-style name drawings, expressing their personalities through bold colors and unique designs.
🏀 PE with Mr. Long & Ms. Buckley — A fun “get to know you” activity in the gym had students passing a ball to partners while learning more about each other. Teamwork and smiles all around!
🧪 Science with Ms. Tucker — Students explored the NDMS grounds, visiting birdhouses and outdoor life science spaces. Nature and learning go hand in hand!
Swipe through the gallery to see our amazing students in action. We’re proud of the vibrant learning happening every day at NDMS!
