Our 8th grade class, which are NOW 9th graders, earn over 70 3's and 4's. Our current 8th graders also earned over 70 3's and 4's. The current 7th graders achieved 99 3's and 4's. If you were on the NDMS campus today, you may have been confused and thought it was St. Patrick's Day. Actually our scholars and staff were decked out in GREEN to celebrate the House of IS-I-BIN-DI!!! Wednesday of spirit week was devoted to the House of Courage. This house can be defined as a fierce competitor. House members are patiently waiting to scream "WHO YOU WITH?" to their newest family members on Friday!

Our 6th graders really know how to show HOUSE SPIRIT! On Tuesday, we celebrated the House of Amistad. Amistad is known as the House of Friendship and can be seen proudly wearing the color red. The House animal is the Peacock, as it signifies love and spirit. We are so excited to see what new members are welcomed with open arms into their new "homes" on Friday. Our House leaders of Amistad can't wait to be FRIENDS with YOU!

At NDMS, we believe that the safety of our students and staff is a priority. We recognize that practicing drills, better prepares us for the chance of emergency. NDMS just conducted our first Fire Drill of the year. It was a success. We will continue to practice all safety protocols, as drills, monthly.
If your child participated in any MCAP assessments at North Dorchester Middle School or one of its feeder schools last year, MCAP scores reports will be coming home today. Please be on the lookout for a white envelope with your child's name on it.
