Good afternoon MES Families!
After Monday and Tuesday's snow days, we've officially used all the snow days in our calendar. That means Wednesday, January 28, 2026, will be a virtual learning day for students.
Students should either log in for virtual learning, or - if your family requested a paper packet - work on the packet that was sent home last Friday.
Here are some important details for virtual learning:
PK3, PK4, Kindergarten - Students in these grade levels all received packets last Friday. These packets should be completed tomorrow and turned in on the next in person school day.
If you have any questions regarding the packet, please reach out to your child's teacher via email or Rooms. Emails for each teacher can be found here: Email Addresses for Teachers
1st - 5th Grades - Students in these grade levels should log in to Google Meet at 9:30 AM.
The schedule for the rest of the day can be found here: Virtual Day Google Meet Schedule
The codes for the Google Meets can be found here: Google Meet Codes
Here are some important documents that may help with technology:
Google Meet Instructions - Please note that students must be logged into their DCPS account on Google in order to access the Google Meets.
Clever Log In Instructions - Clever is the platform students use to access online programs, such as iReady and IXL.
If any technical challenges or cannot log into the Google Meet, please have your child complete the packet that was sent home.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Drake (draken@dcpsmd.org) or Ms. Beulah (beulahb@dcpsmd.org).
