Classroom Supply Lists 2026–2027  

Reminder: Clear backpacks and clear water bottles are required for all students.

To help families prepare for the school year, Choptank Elementary School will provide each student with one clear backpack and one clear water bottle at the beginning of the year. Families will be responsible for purchasing any replacement backpacks and water bottles after this initial distribution.

In addition, please review the grade-specific supply lists below to make sure your child has everything they need for the upcoming school year.

Pre-K   

  • Family photo  

  • Blanket/towel, pillow, and/or stuffed animal for rest time  

  • Spare change of clothes (please be mindful of CES uniform guidelines for spare clothing items)  

  • Band Aids  

  • Students will be provided with a clear backpack and water bottle — families may purchase their own clear backpack if they choose  

 

Kindergarten   

  • 3 large boxes of tissues 

  • 1 box of crayons (24 pack) 

  • 1 box of markers (10 pack) 

  • 2 bottles liquid hand sanitizer 

  • 3 containers of Clorox/Lysol wipes 

  • 1 jumbo size glue sticks (3 pack) 

  • Band Aids  

 

First   Grade

  • 2 boxes of crayons (24 pack)  

  • 2 packs of pencils  

  • 2 packs of pencil top erasers  

  • 4 large glue sticks OR 8 small glue sticks  

  • 2 boxes of tissues  

  • 2 containers of Clorox wipes  

  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer  

  • 2 rolls of white paper towels  

  • Band Aids  

 

Second Grade   

  • 2 packs of glue sticks  

  • 2 packs of pencil top erasers  

  • 1 box of pencils  

  • 1 box of Crayola crayons (24 pack)  

  • 1 pack of coloring markers  

  • 1 pack of skinny dry erase markers  

  • 1 or more boxes of tissues  

  • 1 or more containers of Clorox wipes  

  • 1 or more bottles of Germ-X  

  • 1 box of Ziploc bags (boys – gallon, girls – quart)  

  • 1 pair of headphones (labeled, over-the-ear — not earbuds)  

  • Band Aids  

 

Third Grade  

  • 3 packs of pre-sharpened No. 2 pencils (no mechanical pencils, please 😊)  

  • 2 packs of pencil top erasers  

  • 1 box of Ziploc bags (boys – gallon, girls – sandwich)  

  • 2 bottles of hand sanitizer  

  • 3 containers of Clorox wipes  

  • 3 boxes of tissues  

  • 1 box of Crayola crayons (24 pack)  

  • 1 pack of glue sticks (4 count)  

  • Band Aids  

 

Fourth Grade   

  • 3 boxes of #2 pencils  

  • Crayons  

  • Markers  

  • Highlighters  

  • 3 packs of pencil top erasers  

  • 2 boxes of Kleenex tissues  

  • 1 pair of headphones (IMPORTANT)  

  • Computer mouse  

  • 2 2-inch ring binders  

  • Hand sanitizer

Fifth Grade   

  • 1 one-subject spiral notebook for math  

  • 1 two-pocket folder for math  

  • 2 packs of loose-leaf paper  

  • 25 wooden pencils (no lead pencils)

  • 3 boxes of Kleenex  

  • Band Aids  

  • No pencil sharpeners
