Through the Real Men Read Initiative and in partnership with We All Will Rise, students from Mace’s Lane Middle School and Cambridge-South Dorchester High School led impactful literacy experiences with students at Sandy Hill Elementary School today, #withJOY! As part of the initiative, young men in middle and high school read with classes across all elementary grade levels, helping foster a love of reading while gaining real-world exposure to careers in education. The experience allowed these secondary students to build leadership skills, strengthen connections with younger learners, and explore the impact educators make in their communities.
