Dorchester County, MD — Dorchester County Public Schools is proud to announce the 2025 Maryland School Report Card ratings for our district schools, reflecting continued growth and achievement across the district.
This year, DCPS celebrates significant progress with 82% of our rated schools earning 3-star or higher ratings, underscoring our commitment to academic excellence and student success.
Highlights from the 2025 Report Card:
Cambridge-South Dorchester High School (CSDHS) increased its rating to achieve 3-star school status.
Choptank Elementary School (CES) improved by more than 10 points from last year and is less than 2 points away from earning a 3-star rating.
Hurlock Elementary School (HES) maintained its 3-star school status.
Maple Elementary School (MES) increased by more than 10 points from last year and is less than 2 points from earning a 4-star rating.
North Dorchester High School (NDHS) maintained its 3-star school status.
North Dorchester Middle School (NDMS) increased just shy of 8 points from last year and is less than 2 points from earning a 4-star rating.
Sandy Hill Elementary School (SHES) increased to achieve 3-star school status.
South Dorchester School (SDS) maintained its 4-star school status.
Vienna Elementary School (VES) increased by more than 10 points from last year to achieve 4-star school status.
Warwick Elementary School (WES) is 0.5 points away from earning a 4th star
Mace’s Lane Middle School (MLMS) met improvement indicator flags for all academic achievement measures
District-wide Summary:
2 schools earned 4-star ratings
7 schools earned 3-star ratings
2 schools earned 2-star ratings
