At the February 18, 2010 Board of Education meeting, the board recognized students Ivory Buck, Choptank Elementary School; Winter Cannalito, Mace's Lane Middle School; Kindall Ridgely, Mace's Lane Middle School; and Derrick Seymour, Maple Elementary School.

Poster Contest Winner
Ivory, a fourth grade student at Choptank Elementary School, had his artwork selected as first place for his age group in the "Take 15 for Physical Education Poster Contest." This contest was sponsored by the Maryland Department of Education, PRIME Outlets, Maryland Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (MAHPERD), and the Maryland PTA. The contest was initiated to create an awareness for increasing physical activity among children and families.

Tickets are available at the door for $8.00.
Friday March 12, Dorchester Unity Players will hold "Buffalo Bill's Western BBQ" in the CSDHS cafeteria before the show. Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and carryout's from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Cost will be $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
